Project name: East African Migration Routes (EAMR) Project

The EAMR project aimed to ensure that countries along the East African migration route have child-protection policies and adequate organizational capacities to ensure protection and enable self-reliance of children and youth in vulnerable displacement situations. The assessment conducted provided insights into the Khartoum and Gedaref economy, the demand and supply of labor and the potential for small business for migrant and host community youth. Data for the assessment was acquired through a mixed methods approach consisting of surveys, KIIs and FGDs
