Project name: Dam Rehabilitation and Food Security in North- Darfur

The project aimed at making the target groups more resilient to diminish long-term dependency on humanitarian assistance and decrease their vulnerability to recurring shocks, particularly droughts. This was mainly done by increasing their resilience in agriculture, water management, hygiene, livelihoods, and peacebuilding. The baseline study conducted by SRCG primarily set benchmarks for outcome indicators and assessed the percentage of people using community-level conflict resolution mechanisms.
