Thematic areas: Housing, land and property rights, returnees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
The project primarily aimed to contribute to durable solutions by consolidating and analyzing available information on housing, land and property rights, providing a concise account of women’s rights as it relates to housing, land, and property rights within the three regions, and describe the housing, land and property rights dispute resolution mechanisms. In this regard, SRCG analyzed the legal frameworks governing housing, land, and property rights, mapped all the relevant stakeholders governing housing, land, and property rights, and reviewed existing literature on the subject. To achieve this, key national-level stakeholders were questioned to frame the transition’s key risk factors.
