Project name: Peaceful Coexistence and Social Cohesion for Conflict-Affected Communities Project
The project aimed to improve peaceful coexistence and social cohesion for conflict-affected communities in Kutum rural, North Darfur, through strengthening community-based conflict resolution mechanisms, improving community interdependence and coexistence, and improving networking, coordination and learning between local and state-level peacebuilding institutions. SRCG conducted the labor market assessment to determine the most employable skills, identify skills gaps in the value chain and the market, identify challenges faced by vocational training institutions and graduates, and assess how private micro-finance institutions provide small loans.
